Presumably in the area of what is now Edinburg, Maine, originally called Township 1, Old Indian Purchase, West of Penobscot River - T1 OIP WPR.
The enumerator called it Plantation 1, but other records show Township 1. Presumably it's the same place.
Note: The 1820 Census lists names of heads of households only, with a tally of everyone in each household by age range and gender.
The enumeration of Plantation 1 at Passadumkeag, West of the Penobscot River, appears at the top of Sheet 55.
