1911 Photograph of Conrad Berlied; photo taken by the C. D. Holme studio of Maynard, Massachusetts

Photograph of a young man identified on the reverse as "Conrad Berlied, 1911".  The photograph was taken by the C. D. Holme studio of Maynard, Massachusetts.

From brief research, hopefully correct - corrections and additions requested:

I believe Conrad was Conrad Olsen Berlied who was born April 20, 1885 at Strommen, Norway, son of Ole Broderson and Johanna Pedersen, and who came to the United States about 1904.  On November 7, 1914 at Concord, Massachusetts, Conrad married Norwegian native Inga D. Olsen, daughter of Ole Johansen and Ingebord Pedersen.

Conrad and Inga lived at West Concord, Massachusetts, and raised several children.  By 1942, when Conrad, a building contractor, filled out his U.S. World War II Draft Registration card, he was living at West Concord, Massachusetts, and working for Beharrel Brothers there.  He died in March of 1972.

Two Cabinet Photos of the Same Young Man or Related Young Men; Norway, Maine studio

Two cabinet photographs of an unidentified young man, one taken by the Bartlett studio on Cottage Street in Norway, Maine, and the other by Miss Libby of Norway, Maine.

The photograph above shows what I think to be either the older brother of the boy in the photograph below, or the same person at a different stage of life.

If you recognize the person in these photographs from  your family albums or research, please leave a comment or contact me directly.
