Hartland, Maine, in the 1820 Census

Hartland, Maine, in Somerset County in the 1820 Census.

Land was set off to Athens, Maine, and St. Albans, Maine, in 1821.  Land was annexed from St. Albans, Maine, in 1846.  Land was set off to Canaan, Maine, in 1849, and to Pittsfield, Maine, in 1852.

Note: the 1820 Census lists the names of heads of households only, with a tally of everyone in the household by age range and gender.
