Real Photo Postcard: young Ralph Keller Oxton (1903-1986). Some records show Ralph's middle name as Keeler.
Ralph was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on 21 November 1903, the son of Edward Augustus Oxton and Tillie May (Burkett) Oxton, natives of Camden, Maine, and Thomaston, Maine, respectively.
The postcard is addressed to Ralph's paternal uncle and wife, Charles I. Oxton and Flora May (Heaward) Oxton of South Hope, Maine.
On 19 June 1926, Ralph married Alice A. Gordon, daughter of John H. Gordon and Bessie M. (Day) Gordon of Haverhill, Massachusetts. Ralph and Alice lived in the Boston area, where Ralph worked in the office and in sales at a laundry. He died in Florida in 1986.
