c1894 Photograph, Possibly Graduation Photograph, of Effie Sargent of Sargentville, Maine; Eastern State Normal School at Castine, Maine

c1894 cabinet photograph, presumably a graduation photograph, of a young woman identified on the reverse as Effie Sargent of Sargentville, Maine, a graduate of the class of 1894 at Eastern State Normal School at Castine, Maine.

The photograph was taken by the W. C. Tuttle & Son studio of Belfast, Maine, presumably by their branch at Castine, Maine.

From brief online research, hopefully correct:  [corrections and additions requested]

Effie Reed Sargent was born September 11, 1875 at Sedgwick, Maine, presumably in the village of Sargentville.  Her parents were sea and steamship captain Llewellyn Jasper Sargent and Harriet E. (Forhan) Sargent, "Hattie", daughter of another sea captain, Michael H. Forhan.

On May 13, 1896 at Sedwick, Maine, Effie Reed Sargent married Albert Currier Parker, also a Sedgwick, Maine, native and the son of sea captain James Ahira Parker and Francena Dolores (Currier) Parker.  At the time of their marriage, Effie was teaching, and Albert was working as the fireman on a train and living at Marblehead, Massachusetts.

The new couple lived at Marblehead, Massachusetts for a while, then South Portland, Maine, and finally Portsmouth, New Hampshire, presumably as Albert found different positions along the railways.  I believe they had four children, at least one of whom died fairly young.

Effie died in 1958 and is buried at Harmony Grove Cemetery at Portsmouth, New Hampshire, with husband Albert, who had predeceased her in 1945, and two of their children, daughters Frances H. S. Parker and Margaret Lois Parker.  Effie's parents are also buried at Harmony Grove Cemetery.
