Hattie may have been the Harriet Nichols, a native of Durham, Maine, who married Charles B. Jordan, a native of Pownal, Maine, in 1901. This Harriet, Harriet Winifred (Nichols) Jordan (1865-1931), "Hattie", was the daughter of Samuel B. Nichols and Esther Ann (Nichols) Nichols

Harriet and her husband, Charles Buchanan Jordan (1856-1947) farmed in Freeport, Maine, and had at least one child, Esther Ann Nichols Jordan, born in 1917. Charles also worked as a carpenter.

Hattie and Charles are buried in the Burr Cemetery in Freeport, Maine, with their daughter.

If you have another theory as to the identity of Hattie Nichols, or if you have information to share on the families of Harriet Winifred (Nichols) Jordan and Charles Buchanan Jordan, please leave a comment for the benefit of other researchers.
