1893 Photograph of Mabel Thompson of Lewiston, Maine

April 9, 1893 photograph of a young woman identified on the reverse as Mabel Thompson of Lewiston, Maine.

Mabel may have been Mabel G. Thompson (1872-1897), daughter of Elbridge G. Thompson (1848-1933) and Francena J. (Light) Thompson (1850-1906).  If so, this Mabel died in 1897, just a few years after sitting for this photograph, and is buried in the Riverside Cemetery in Lewiston, Maine.  

Mabel's FindaGrave memorial shows her death year as 1887 but with a closer look at the stone, the year is 1897.
