Township No. 6, Maine, in the 1820 Census [T6  AP (Abbot Purchase)].  Also known as  Plantation No. 6. 

Timeline:

• in Oxford County in 1820
• a portion was incorporated into "Berlin", which was established in 1824
• in Franklin County as of 1838
• Berlin's incorporation was repealed in 1842, whereupon the eastern portion was annexed by Phillips
• Now known as Township 6, North of Weld", in Franklin County
