Daniel E. Geagan, a native of Waltham, Massachusetts, who moved to Brewer, Maine, was a private with the 103rd Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry Division in World War I. He died on July 22, 1918 in France and is buried in the Oise-Aisne American Cemetery at Fere-en-Tardenois, France. He may have been the Daniel Earl Geagan born at Waltham, Massachusetts, on September 6, 1896, son of John H. Geagan and Susan A. (Rooney) Geagan.
