Photograph of a baby identified on the inside of the front of the jacket as "Elliott Clark Smith, 6 weeks 2 days, 9lbs 15oz".It's tempting to think that the photograph, presumably acquired in a Maine antique shop, might be that of the Elliott Clarke Smith (1919-1988) born in Bangor, Maine, but most records do not show an "e" on the end of his middle name.
