Mrs. Etta Leighton
Mrs. Etta Leighton, passed away Sunday, March 27, on her seventy-seventh birthday at the Maine Odd Fellows Home in Auburn, where she had made her home for the past several years. Mrs. Leighton was born in St. Albans but lived many years in Dexter. Rev. Kenneth R. Hutchinson, conducted funeral services Tuesday afternoon at the Ramsay and Gates undertaking rooms, and the remains were placed in the receiving vault at Mt. Pleasant to await burial later in the spring, in St. Albans. The bearers were four Odd Fellows, Fred E. Gove, Paul T. Higgins, Floyd Hammond and Morton Bullard. She leaves no near relatives.
