1887-1894 Autograph Album with Inscribers mostly from Biddeford, Maine; possibly owned by ? Libby

1887-1894 autograph album with inscribers mostly from Biddeford, Maine, and area, with one each from Boston, Massachusetts; Lowell, Massachusetts; and Fort Worth, Texas.

One inscriber, Carlton W. Libby of Biddeford, described himself as a brother.  Another inscriber, Lester A. Hanson of Lowell, Massachusetts, noted a cousin relationship.  According to a reader, Lester's mother, Susan (Libby) Hanson was a sister to Carlton's father Jason W. Libby.

Carlton's parents were Jason W. Libby (1847-1910) and Annie (Cleland) Libby (1855-1930). He had at least one sibling who might have been the owner: Statira B. Libby (1875-1905).

The album, which measures approximately 6-3/4" by 5-1/4" in portrait orientation, contains the sentiments of 20 of the owner's relatives and friends.  An alphabetical list of the inscribers appears at the end of this post.
