From online research, hopefully correct:
Evelyn Adrienne Maguire was born 26 November 1911 at Leeds, Maine, the daughter of Harold and Marion Adrienne (Manter) Maguire, both also born at Leeds.
Her paternal grandparents were Oscar and Sarah (Gray) Maguire. her maternal grandparents were Arthur Wilson Manter and Mary Melvina (Wheeler) Manter.
I found her in the Census up to 1920, but lost her after that. One of Evelyn's brothers named his daughter Evelyn.

Marion Maquire was my great aunt. Her sister, Doris Wheeler Manter was my paternal grandmother. They both lived in Kennebunk until their deaths in the 1960's. I know Marion had two children also living in Kennebunk but do not recall Evelyn. I have people I could ask if you want to contact me. My e-mail is pbm@roadrunner.com.

ReplyDeleteHello! I've been researching my husband's side of the family (The Maguires) and this is a picture of his great Aunt! Unfortunately her story does not have a happy ending at she died at 16 just 6 days after her 3 yr old sister.
