Above is an image of the page signed by Isaac Sheldon of Waldo, Maine, on January 16, 1887, in the autograph book of Bertha Clements of Waldo Center, Maine.

From online research, hopefully correct:

Isaac Sheldon was born 17 April 1869 at Knox, Maine, the son of William C. and Rosetta (Smith) Sheldon.   I haven't yet learned the names of the parents of William C. Sheldon.  Isaac's maternal grandparents were Abner Ford Smith and his wife Mary C. (Mixer) Smith, both of Waldo County, Maine.  Mary C. Mixer's parents were George S. and Mary Polly (Crooks) Mixer, who show up in the family trees of several of the autograph book's signers.

In 1895 Isaac Sheldon married Florence A. Stephenson, who was born in May of 1873 in Maine, the daughter of Zenas and Mary Estelle (Stevens) Stephenson.  I found Mary Estelle's maiden name on the birth record of her son Arthur Joseph Stephenson, who was born 4 September 1869.  [The Maine birth and death records that have recently gone online are treasure troves of information, on a par with the wonderful Maine Marriages online database.]

Isaac and Florence were living in Belfast, Maine, during the 1900 Census, but by 1910 they had moved to Auburn, Maine.  I found at least two children for them, both daughters.  Florence died in Auburn on 13 July 1914.  I don't have a date of death for Isaac.
