Jeanette Kelly Gray, "Nettie", was born 29 July 1883 in Madison County, Indiana, the daughter of Joshua Lacey Gray and Margaret (Kelly, I think) Gray, who were born at Salem, New Jersey, and in Indiana, respectively.
On 16 September 1905, in Madison County, Indiana, Jeanette Kelly Gray married Virgil Vernon Bowers, son of Andrew Jackson Bowers and Martha (Moore) Bowers.
Jeanette and Virgil farmed at Monroe Township, in Madison County, Indiana, and had at least one child, a son Herbert Rudolph Bowers.
Virgil died at Alexandria, Indiana in 1950. Jeanette died in Madison County, Indiana, in 1961.
