From online research, hopefully correct: [corrections welcome!]
Amy Gertrude Foss (1876-1927) was born in 1876, presumably at Haverhill, Massachusetts, the daughter of Henry G. and Frances E. (Rourke) Foss, who were born at New Castle, New Hampshire, and Boston, Massachusetts, respectively.
Amy lost her parents at a young age. Her mother died not long after her birth, and her father died in 1881. By the time of the 1900 Census, Amy was working as a stenographer and boarding in a Haverhill, Massachusetts household headed by Josiah Littlefield. Her name appears in several Haverhill Town reports as being paid by the town for clerical duties.
By 1910, Amy was living at Boston, Massachusetts in the home of her aunt, Annie A. Cooley, and working as a bookkeeper in an insurance office. By 1920 she was living alone at Boston and working as a social worker at the Child-Helping Society.
She died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1927 and is buried with her parents in the Linwood Cemetery in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
