1800s photo of 3 people outside the Charles E. Robinson Store

Group photo of two men and a boy, outside a storefront that has a sign reading "Charles E. Robinson, Victualler".  The man in the middle is identified as Uncle Charlie, which possibly means that his last name is also Robinson, but not necessarily.  There are a few other signs on the storefront, but I can't get any clues from them.

The reverse, though, has some clues:

"Now Davis's Store.  This When Grandpa Robinson owned it.  Uncle Charlie in doorway"

Because I purchased the photo in Maine, I started from that angle, but no luck so far.

Perhaps the clues will have some meaning for you; if so, please comment so I can give the photo the identification it deserves.  Thanks!
