Two cabinet photographs from the Wardwell family of Verona Island, near Bucksport, Maine. The photographs were taken at the Ramsdell studio in Bangor, Maine.
The photograph above depicts, presumably, Aroline Madelle Wardwell (1872-unk), daughter of Alfred Wardwell and Rachel (Abbott) Wardwell.
Another photograph depicts a Miss R. Wardwell, who was, presumably Aroline's older sister Rachel Wardwell (abt 1856-1937).
If instead of Miss, the person handwriting the identification meant Mrs., she may have been Aroline's mother Rachel (Abbott) Wardwell.
