From online research, hopefully correct: [corrections welcome]
Augustus Hosea Proctor was born 2 February 1834 at Fitchburg, Massachusetts, son of Hosea and Mary (Sampson) Proctor.
His paternal grandparents were James Proctor, Jr., and Esther (Wright) Proctor. His maternal grandparents were Robert and Olive (Phillips) Sampson.
On 23 October 1855 at Boston, Massachusetts, Augustus married Maria H. Streeter, daughter of Daniel Rawson Streeter and Mary Ann (Leach) Proctor. Maria was born at Attleboro, about 1836.
The couple settled at Fitchburg where Augustus was involved in the transportation industry.
