1880s/1890s Autograph Album of Herbert of Antrim, New Hampshire area

1880s/1890s autograph album that belonged to a Herbert of the Antrim, New Hampshire area; it includes two autographs from the 1940s.

I found several possibilities for Herbert's surname, including surnames that appear in the album.  Sadly, none of the signers indicated a relationship with Herbert, so I'll wait in hopes that a reader in the know will happen by and leave a comment.

The album is approximately 8" x 5" and includes the sentiments of 68 people.  An alphabetical list of the signers appears at the end of this post.

Many of the signers gave their residence as Antrim, New Hampshire, and Munsonville, New Hampshire.

Georgiana Sawyer of Riverside Farm at Antrim, New Hampshire, signed a page.

Miss Flora E. Davis of Munsonville, New Hampshire, signed a page on 9 May 1883.

Several members of the Fox family of Veratina, California, signed pages.  Either Herbert visited them or vice versa; from the format the signers used, I'm leaning toward the former.  Among the Fox family who signed:

Mrs. C. E. Fox of Veratina, California, signed a page on 11 September 1892.  "Absent but not forgotten."

Warren Franklin Fox of Veratina, California, signed a page on 12 September 1892.

Zenes Berten Fox signed a page at Veratina, California, on 12 September 1892.

Hollie Fox signed a page at Veratina, California on 12 September 1892.

If you have a theory as to Herbert's surname or information on any of the signers listed below, please leave a comment or contact me directly.  Thanks!

One signer, Emma G. Webster of 21 Barr Street, Salem, Massachusetts, signed a page at Antrim, New Hampshire, and sketched a hay wagon, that presumably was the means of transport of visitors to Gregg Pond.

Two signers signed on the same day in 1944, when the album presumably came to light at a gathering.

Mrs. Mary J. Philips of Milford, New Hampshire, signed a page at Dover, New Hampshire, on 22 April 1944.  She gave her birth date "Born July 28, 1854".

Jennie Jewett also signed a page on 22 April 1944.  "About my age you've often wondered - When you read this I'm nearly half a hundred."

Alphabetical list of signers, with a list of surnames first [there will be multiples of many surnames], and then a list of the signers in more depth: [Note: given names within a specific surname may not be in alphabetical order.]
