1916 Diary of Annie Louise Mason of Corinna, Maine, Then Living at Waterville, Maine

1916 diary of Annie Louise Mason of Corinna, Maine, while she was living at 238 Main Street, Waterville, Maine, and working at 173 Main Street, Waterville.   The entries run from January 1 until August 27.

From online research, hopefully correct:  [corrections and additions welcome!]

Annie Louise Mason was born August 16, 1894 at Corinna, Maine, the daughter of Leonard King Mason and Mary Augusta (Walton) Mason.  On December 20, 1922 at Dexter, Maine, Annie married George Carl Bates, son of Charles Fremont Bates and Emma Estelle (Libby) Bates.

Annie and George lived at Dexter, Maine; Annie's widowed mother was living with them at the time of the 1930 and 1940 Censuses.  I don't believe Annie had children.  She died in 1981 and is buried in the Higgins Cemetery at Corinna, Maine.

If you recognize or can piece out the identities of any of the people mentioned in the diary, please leave a comment or contact me directly.  See images of all of the pages in the album at the end of this post.
