Birth Record of Alonzo Putnam Mills (1872-1950), born in 1872 in Bradford, Maine

Certified copy, undated, of the birth record of Alonzo Putnam Mills, born 28 October 1872 at Bradford, Maine, son of preacher Hezekiah Mills, age 40, and Sarah Jane (Connolly) Mills, a native of Jacksontown, New Brunswick, age 42.
From brief online research, hopefully correct - corrections and additions requested:

Alonzo apparently moved to Michigan at some point, as there is a record in Alpena, Michigan, of his marriage there of 14 June 1899 to Miss Sara E. Creighton, age 29. The 1900 Census shows Alonzo as married and boarding in Willimantic, Maine, in the Howard home, presumably connected to the spool mill there; Sara isn't listed. She may have stayed in Michigan, as their daughter, Marjorie, was born in Alpena, Michigan, in 1902.

By 1910, Alonzo, Sara and Margery were living in Milo, Maine, where Alonzo was working as a finisher in a spool mill. Alonzo was working at Atlantic Thread Company in Milo, Maine, at the time he filled out his World War I Draft Registration Card.

It appears that Alonzo and Sara lived stayed in Milo for the rest of their lives. They're buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Milo, Maine, with their daughter Marjorie (Mills) Howe.

If you have corrections and/or additions to the information above, please leave a comment for the benefit of other researchers.
