4 Tintypes of Standing Ladies, likely from the Bangor, Maine area

Four more tintypes in the collection purchased at a Bangor, Maine show in 1990.   There are about fifty tintypes in all, many showing a family resemblance, many of women, many of men, some of couples, some of children, some of what appear to be family groups and a few showing two or more men.  The tintypes shown in this post do not have backings, but I've included scans of two that do, to show the Bangor, Maine connection.

Check the archives of November of 2010 for posts with "Bangor, Maine area" in the title to see more of these tintypes.   I'm working my way through the tintypes of women first.

Shown above and below are four well-dressed ladies photographed while standing.

Here are scans of two tintypes (not the ones discussed above) with a backing that identifies a Bangor, Maine studio.

If you recognize any of these women from your family albums, please leave a comment in the comments box or contact me directly.
