4 Tintypes of Older Ladies, likely from the Bangor, Maine area
Four more tintypes in a collection purchased at a Bangor, Maine show in 1990. See my previous posts on tintypes of 3 women and more tintypes. There are about fifty tintypes in all, many showing a family resemblance, many of women, many of men, some of couples, some of children, some of what appear to be family groups and a few showing two or more men. I'm working my way through the tintypes of women first; check the blog archive for similar posts in November of 2010.
This post shows four tintypes of the older women in the grouping. Some of the tintypes have stickers from the show vendor:
Two of the tintypes in the collection, not those above, have a backing that identifies a Bangor, Maine studio.
If you recognize any of these women from your family albums, please leave a comment in the comments box or contact me directly.
Thanks for stopping by!
