Two large photographs of the same girl, one at five years of age and the other at eight. The photographs were both done by the Strem Studio, Boston, Massachusetts. Unfortunately, this cute and intelligent appearing girl is not identified. Hopefully a reader will recognize her and send along her identity.

I have a photo of my mom from strem studio.. where was it located.. when was it in business. photo is lovely and hand tinted.
ReplyDeleteIf you search online, lots of sites come up, mostly describing photos taken by the studio, some of them in the 1930s. If you're trying to pinpoint a specific year, you could try looking up Boston City Directories at the library.
