Cabinet photograph of a young man identified on reverse as Illie R. Woodside of Knightville, Maine.  Knightville was likely the Knightville neighborhood of South Portland, Maine.

The photograph was taken by the studio of George E. Brown of 235-1/2 Middle Street, Portland, Maine.  

I'm assuming Illie was a nickname, but for what I have no idea.

There was a William R. Woodside, born at Brunswick, Maine, in August 1859.  And an Israel R. Woodside, born about September 1871 in Maine.  The latter was listed as a clerk in several early 1900s directories of Portland, Maine.
