1850-1875 program of the Alumni Banquet commemorating the quarter centennial of the McCollom Institute of Mont Vernon, New Hampshire, containing the program, speakers, Annals, Marriages and Necrologies.
The booklet measures approximately 9" by 6" and contains 48 numbered pages. The covers have separated from the interior. An alphabetical list of people mentioned in the booklet appears at the end of this post.
The McCollom Institute was founded as Appleton Academy in 1850 and changed its name in 1871 to reflect the support of George W. McCollom of New York City, who made substantial donations, including an endowment in memory of his late wife Mary Ann (Stevens) McCollum. Both of them were born in or near Mont Vernon, New Hampshire.
