1836 Canton, Maine Document: John Hearsey, Goin Wilson [Gowen Wilson], Gideon Ellis, James Whitney

November 7, 1836 Canton, Maine, document, where Selectmen Gideon Ellis and James Whitney direct town Treasurer John Hearsey, Esq., to pay Goin Wilson $4 for work on road.

Goin Wilson was presumably Gowen Wilson, who apparently pronounced his given name as "Go-in".
