1862-1868 autograph album that belonged to Anna A. Collins of Gardiner, Maine, with many inscriptions from her fellow students at the Maine Wesleyan Seminary and Female Collegiate Institute at Kents Hill, Readfield, Maine.

Several inscriptions in this album were made by Anna's relatives at Winchendon, Massachusetts, and Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire.
The first end paper carries Anna's name, as well as the names of her siblings Wallace Collins and Jennie Collins.
The album measures approximately 8" by 5-1/2" and contains the sentiments of around 120 of Anna's relatives, friends, schoolmates and teachers. An alphabetical surname list and an alphabetical list of the inscribers, together with any personal information they offered, appear at the end of this post.

Anna Augusta Collins was born in 1845, the daughter of Sea Captain Jason Collins and Louise C. (Kenniston) Collins of Gardiner, Maine. Read more about Captain Jason Collins, who owned the Kennebec Steamboat Company and was president of the Boothbay Steamboat Company, here.
I don't believe Anna ever married. Her death record indicates that she was an artist. Anna died at Gardiner, Maine, at age 68 on August 19, 1913. She and other family members are buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Gardiner, Maine.
