1870s/1880s autograph album of Edith Cushman Wadsworth (1864-1898) of Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Many of the inscriptions were penned by Edith's schoolmates at Bridgewater High School.

The album measures approximately 5-1/4" by 3-1/2" and contains the sentiments of over 50 of Edith's relatives, schoolmates and friends.  An alphabetical list of the inscribers, together with any personal information they offered, appears at the end of this post.

Edith, daughter of Dura Wadsworth III and Olive (Wentworth) Wadsworth, would marry Curtis Nahum Leonard (1864-1901).  Several of Edith's siblings inscribed pages, as did her father, Dura Wadsworth III, shown below.

It's quite possible that the E. C. W. who drew this floral spray was Ethel C. Wadsworth herself.
