1917-1918 Issue of the "Aroostookan", Student Publication of the Aroostook Central Institute at Mars Hill, Maine

"The Aroostookan", a student publication of the Aroostook Central Institute at Mars Hill, Maine.  The covers are missing, but, from clues inside, it appears that this was an issue from the school year 1917-1918.  The owner of this particular copy was Stanley Taylor, whose handwritten name appears on the first present page.  He was a freshman in the Class of 1921.

The publication measures approximately 9-1/4" by 6", with 47 numbered pages and a few pages of advertising in the front and back each.  An alphabetical list of the surnames and an alphabetical list of names mentioned, together with any interesting information I found on them, appear at the end of this post.

Images of all of the pages appear at the end of this post.
