Collection of letters written to Florence Knox of Brooklyn, New York, before and after her marriage to Emil Louis Beh

Collection of letters written to Florence Knox in the 1890s, before her marriage to Emil Louis Beh on 25 October 1900, and a few after that time, mostly in 1916 when she was recuperating in the hosptal and at home.

The photograph above was taken from the Behs' 1921 passport application.

Florence was born about September 1876, daughter of William and Mary Knox.  On 25 October 1900, at Brooklyn, New York, Florence married Emil Louis Beh, son of Albert and Charlotte M. (Hoehne) Beh.  Emil was born 26 July 1878 in New York.

The couple had at least two sons

The letters date from 1893 to 1900, with a few from 1916 when Florence was recuperating in the hospital and at home, and a later grouping of mostly Emil's business dealings, which I haven't yet catalogued, as they are from a newer era than I feel comfortable in researching.
