Eugenia T. Robinson was born about 1857 in Maine, the daughter of sea captain William F. Robinson and wife Amanda Fitzallen (Swain) Robinson, born in Wiscasset, Maine, and Skowhegan, Maine, respectively. William F. Robinson died at sea on 5 March 1864.
On 27 April 1876 at Boston, Massachusetts, Eugenia married George Warren Merrill. He was born 7 September 1848 in Massachusetts, the son of John Franklin Merrill and wife Sarah Emery (Rand) Merrill.
The last evidence I found online of George was the 1900 Census of San Francisco, California, where he was operating an oil business. I found what I believe to be Eugenia in the 1920 Census of San Francisco, listed as Emma, where she was living with her daughter Frances Louise and her children, along with Frances' second husband Paul F. Gillette. "Emma" indicated that she was widowed.
Frances Louise Merrill may have been the only child of Eugenia and George. She was born 24 April 1880 at Boston, Massachusetts. Frances had three children with her first husband David Jose Makepeace and another with her second husband, Maine native Paul Fernando Gillette. She married H. A. McBride in 1930.
