However, I love projects such as what you are undertaking and hope that you will keep me posted. Have you tried City Directories? Many are on Ancestry.com, which you can access at most libraries or the nearest Family History Center (I see there's one in Weston at 150 Brown Street). Also, you might contact the House Historian, Marian Pierre-Louis of Millis, for some tips on house research, though, with your experience researching a building that no longer exists, you are probably pretty much an expert yourself by now: http://www.fieldstonehistoricresearch.com/ Again, I hope you post here again with an update!Pam Beveridgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06272409581983333836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7470217109659177851.post-2465754057317174432015-11-09T08:20:08.496-08:002015-11-09T08:20:08.496-08:00My G Great Grandfather owned a boarding house at 4...My G Great Grandfather owned a boarding house at 46 water St. in 1860s. His name was John Mullen. Upon his death in 1872 it was inherited by his wife, Ann Sweeney (since married). I have reason to believe the Sailors Haven is the same building. I am currently researching real estate documents since the building is no longer there. I was born in Charlestown and I am doing ancestry. Any help would be greatly appreciated.....Ed CottierAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7470217109659177851.post-3326928648010897272013-08-11T06:21:16.867-07:002013-08-11T06:21:16.867-07:00Wow - the review of this book on Amazon from a rea...Wow - the review of this book on Amazon from a reader, a King relative in Barbados, was full of information about King, Barbados, the brotherhood of seamen and talked of a photograph of King with a parrot on his shoulder.
