1811 IOU between Samuel Mills and William E. Green of Worcester, Massachusetts; Signed by Edward Bangs, Justice of the Peace

IOU, dated March 11, 1811 at Worcester, Massachusetts, where Samuel Mills, Yeoman, of Worcester, 0owes William E. Green, Esq., also of Worcester, the sum of thirty five dollars and sixteen cents, to be paid to Green on March 12, 1811.

The document, which measures approximately 7-1/2" by 6-1/2", was acknowledged by Edward Bangs, Justice of the Peace.

From brief online research, hopefully correct - corrections and additions requested:

Samuel Mills - there was more than one Samuel Mills in Worcester, Massachusetts, in 1811; including one born about 1758 and another about 1791.

William E. Green, Esq. - perhaps William Elijah Green (1777-1865)

Edward Bangs, Justice of the Peace - presumably Judge Edward Bangs (1756-1818), father of Edward Dillingham Bangs.
