Large Photograph of Postmaster Edward S. Lewis at Portland, Connecticut Celebration of Connecticut Tercentenary

Photograph, approximately 9" by 7" matted, of a building, possibly the Portland, Connecticut Post Office, decorated with bunting for the celebration of Connecticut's Tercentenary.  Postmaster Edward S. Lewis is standing in front.

From brief online research, hopefully correct - corrections and additions requested:

According to a Find a Grave memorial and the US Censuses:  Edward S. Lewis was born about August 1866 and died in 1948.  About 1889 he married Florence E. Hale, who was born about October 1864 in New York.  They had at least four children.  Florence died in 1945.  They are buried in the Trinity Church Cemetery at Portland, Connecticut.
