1843 Handwritten Certificate of Marriage of Martin W. Lewis & Harriet J. H. Arno of Springfield, Maine & Plymouth, Maine Respectively

1843 handwritten document penned by David Stone, Justice of the Peace, certifying the marriage of Martin W. Lewis of Springfield, Maine, and Harriet J. H. Arno of Plymouth, Maine.

This may certify that Mr. Martin W. Lewis of Springfield and Miss Harriet J. H. Arno of Plymouth were joined in marriage at said Plymouth this sixteenth Day of July, A.D., 1843.
By me, David Stone, Justice of the Peace

From brief online research, hopefully correct - corrections and additions requested:

Martin, born about 1816, may have been the son of Nathan Lewis of Springfield, Maine.  Harriet was born about 1822, the daughter, I believe, of Zacheus Arno and Sarah (Cole) Arno of Monmouth, Maine, and Plymouth, Maine.

By 1850, Martin, Harriet and two children were living on the Springfield farm of Nathan Lewis, presumably Martin's father.  Martin and Harriet were still at Springfield as late as the enumeration of the 1870 Census, when four children were still living with them.

By 1880 Harriet, a widow, and son Frank were back at Plymouth, Maine.  Frank was still with his mother in 1900.  Harriet died at Plymouth, Maine, on November 21, 1905, according to a Maine Death record, which notes that she was born at Monmouth, Maine, the daughter of Zacheus Arno [indexed as Lacrious] and Sarah (Cole) Arno.
