Two Early 1900s Photographs of Young Edgar Ward, Presumably of Piscataquis County, Maine

Two early 1900s photographs of a young boy identified on the reverse as Edgar Ward at Foxcroft, presumably Foxcroft, Maine, now part of the municipality of Dover-Foxcroft in Piscataquis County.

From brief online research, hopefully correct:  [corrections and additions requested]

There was an Edgar Daniel Ward born at Little Squaw Mountain Township in Piscataquis County on September 17, 1913, son of New Brunswick natives Havelock Archibald Ward and Annie Mae (Beck) Ward.  This Edgar married Christina May (Inman), "Tina"; they raised their family at Greenville, Maine.

Like other New Brunswick natives in the area, Havelock presumably came to the area to work for the railroad, which traversed Maine from the Maritimes to Quebec.

If  you feel that the boy in the photographs is another Edgar Ward, please leave a comment or contact me directly.   In either case, please be careful when commenting on living people without permission.

Little Squaw Mountain is now known as Little Moose Mountain.  It's located near the southwest corner of Moosehead Lake, near Greenville.
