c1900 photograph of a young man identified on the reverse as Henry Bartlett. The photograph was taken by the Howe studio of Bangor, Maine.
Henry may have been the Henry Roy Bartlett, who was born November 13, 1886, son of William B. Bartlett and Clara Etta (Goodrich) Bartlett. According to his marriage record, he was born at Newburg, Maine, but according to his World War I draft enlistment record, he was born next door at Hampden Highlands, Maine. On June 10, 1914 at Dixmont, Maine, Henry married Laura Adelia Chase, daughter of Hiram Wilbur Chase and Mabel D. (Stevens) Chase of Dixmont. Henry and Laura lived at Newburg, Maine, and had, I believe two children.
